House Republicans have abruptly reversed course on bringing forth a resolution to begin impeachment proceedings against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for his ongoing stonewalling of congressional investigators. As of Wednesday evening, Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows along with a number of other House members were prepared to escalate by upping pressure on the de facto attorney general who has ruled the roost on the Russia witch hunt and the out of control Robert Mueller investigation since Jeff Sessions quickly checked out after only weeks on the job.
