The federal judge presiding over the criminal case against Michael Cohen granted his request for an independent “special master” to review the documents seized in a recent FBI raid. According to Fox News, Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, requested that a special master review the documents rather than Judge Kimba Wood. Wood granted Cohen’s request, and appointed Special Master Barbara Jones, who will look over all of the materials seized in the raid on Cohen’s apartment, office and hotel room earlier this month.
