For the party that was able to spend over a billion dollars and still get slaughtered by Donald Trump in the 2016 election, things aren’t looking so hot on the financial side. Will big donors come to the rescue of the DNC? Very likely. But that’s not what matters. What matters is the Democratic Party claims to be thriving off of Trump’s Presidency.
